About SBALoanPro

SBALoanPro was built for small business owners trying to make sense of SBA financing without wading through lender jargon or filling out a form just to see a number. SBA 7(a) payments, guaranty fees, debt service coverage ratio, and 504 loan structuring all involve real formulas — we make those formulas transparent and instant.

Our Approach

Every calculator shows exactly how a result was reached — the fee tier applied, the amortization formula used, the qualification benchmark referenced — so you understand the number, not just see it.

Who We Are

SBALoanPro is a property of Berean Defense L.L.C., a Wyoming company building practical, free tools for people navigating important financial decisions. SBALoanPro is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Small Business Administration. We're an independent publisher of educational calculators, not a lender, broker, or government agency.

Methodology & Sources

Every calculator is built on standard, publicly documented amortization math and the SBA's own published program descriptions — for example, the 7(a) program's general uses and $5 million loan cap, and the 504 program's fixed-asset restriction and $5.5 million cap on the CDC-guaranteed portion. Where a figure is date-sensitive — guaranty fee tiers, interest rate caps, or down payment norms — we say so directly on the calculator page and link to the SBA's own current-year source rather than presenting a fixed number as permanent fact. We update calculator pages when we identify a change to the underlying program rules, and each page notes what the calculator does and does not account for.

Editorial Policy

We do not publish specific loan rates, dollar-figure program limits, or fee percentages unless they trace to an SBA program description or another verifiable public source. Where exact current figures aren't independently confirmed, we use general, hedged language and link readers to the authoritative source instead of guessing. We do not accept payment to misstate a calculation, and any future partner/referral links will be clearly disclosed on the page where they appear, separate from calculator results.
